It’s my birthday today: Happy Birthday
Dad! We made it through yet
another year!
I have spent so many birthdays in new
places with new people, or no people: this year will be a little
different. It will be nice .. it
has already been nice.
Vas woke me this morning with coffee and
bacon and eggs. We NEVER have
bacon and eggs, and it was quite special.
Travis is spreading the word that Steph is
expecting another child.. a new grand child for me. He also has put an offer in on a house.. fingers crossed.
There have been rumblings at school. ‘Investigations’, our center time in
the morning, has been humming with secrets, hushed voices, and measurements of
my wrist (at the beading centre). Cards
are being constructed. The kitchen too has been gathering ingredients.. I am
thinking maybe a cake in the works.
Or not.
Whatever happens, the sun is guaranteed to
shine today. School will be a
blast, guaranteed.. it’s always fun to be around kids.
And I am a year older.. guaranteed.
