It's Ozzie now..

So I have almost finished my first picture book.  I put the text here a while ago.. called the boy Logan.    It has been a slow go but we are getting closer.  

I got an illustrator assigned to me and I am not sure I am happy with that.  And although the publishing company claims to be from the U.S., it seems English is a Second Language to most of the staff. 

I kind of dove into this picture book business as I do most things.. foot first and way too fast. 

I think I would like to go on a different journey next time.  

Yup..  I am thinking about book two.. wondering about the text… pretty sure I have the idea.  I wrote about it in 2010.. the blog titled ‘Christmas 2010’ tells the story.  The big idea is good I think, but the details not so much.  Writing a picture book sounds easy, but the language has to be perfect, as there is so little of it. 

And the illustrations have to be magic. as they say all those things that don’t fit into the words. 

Anyone know an artist interested in working on picture books?  Have computer, will travel!
